[edit] Death Date
Somebody added an entry saying that Rosen died last week (March 2, 2006). Nothing has appeared on the wires, and the death of a legendary ballplayer would be headline news. Could someone please provide a source to confirm that Rosen died? Otherwise, I think the death date should be removed. --Anson2995 16:20, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- I've searched high and low and can't find a single source to confirm that Al Rosen has died. There are no wire stories. There's nothing in any of the Cleveland area papers or in the papers where he lives (Riverside County, CA). The death of such a prominent player would not be hard to confirm at sll, so given the absence of any evidence, I removed the announcement that Rosen has died. --Anson2995 15:17, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Rosen lives you fool.
