Alshermond Glendale Singleton (born August 7, 1975 in Newark, New Jersey) is an American football linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He was originally selected with the thirty second pick of the fourth round of the 1997 NFL Draft out of Temple University by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he played for six seasons. In 2003 he joined the Dallas Cowboys as the starting strongside outside linebacker until Greg Ellis was converted from defensive end. He currently plays as a reserve linebacker and on special teams.
