Al Keck joined the news team at WFTS-TV as sports director in 2001. Al currently is the sports director for the weekday 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM newscasts on WFTS. He also hosts the show Sports Zone on Sundays with Tom Korun.

Keck originally came to the Bay Area in 1988, serving as the popular sports director at WTSP until 2001. Prior to WTSP, Keck worked as the sports director for KCST (now KNSD) in San Diego and as a sports anchor in Portland, Oregon.
