Al Ewing

Al Ewing is a writer for British comic 2000 AD, creator of The Ultimate Future Shock and periodic contributor to the comic's Terror Tales and Future Shorts series, variations on their classic Future Shocks format. Ewing's work appeared in the 2000AD Winter Special 2005, a compendium of up and coming British comics creators and, most recently, written a newly launched strip Go-Machine.

He has also contributed to Solar Wind, FutureQuake and The End Is Nigh. Al is also responsible for the diary of Ralph Dibny.

Al's debut novel will be published in 2007 by Abaddon Books. Pax Britannia: El Sombra features a mysterious Mexican hero fighting back against the menace of steam-powered Nazis. It is set in the same steampunk alternate history as the other novels from the Pax Britannia series.
