Albert Wright Atkinson (March 9, 1861 - June 17, 1952) was a 19th century Major League Baseball pitcher who played in the American Association and the Union Association over a three year span. Atkinson was born in Clinton, Illinois.

He is one of the few Major League Baseball pitchers to have thrown two no-hitters. The first one came on May 24, 1884 against the Pittsburgh Alleghenys in a 10-1 victory. He pitched the second on May 1, 1886 against the New York Metropolitans in a 3-2 victory. Both of his no-hitters were thrown while a member of the Philadelphia Athletics.

Atkinson died at the age of 91 in Elkhorn Township, Missouri. He was laid to rest at the Macedonia Cemetery in Stella, Missouri.[1]
