Al-Ain Football Club (Arabic: نادي العين; transliterated: Nady al-'Ayn) is a professional association football club based in the city of Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. Al-Ain won the 2003 Asian Champions League competition with a 2-1 aggregate victory over BEC Tero Sasana of Thailand.

Al Ain FC is the most successful club in the UAE and among the best in Asia. The team was established in 1968 in the quiet garden city of Al Ain. The team quickly gained popularity and recognition throughout the country, being the team with the most UAE league titles (nine) and the first UAE side to win the AFC Champions league title in 2003.

The Al Ain purple jersey was inspired by the Belgian Club Anderlecht's colours during a football training camp in Morroco in 1977. Al Ain's previous colours were green and then red but they are now permanently purple.

  • Al Ain Club is the first team to win the domestic soccer league for three years in a row, 2001/2002, 2002/2003, 2003/2004
  • Al Ain Club is also the first UAE team to win three titles in one season, the 2002/2003 league, Super Cup and the AFC Champions League.
  • Al Ain beat the Italian Champions Juventus 1-0 in a friendly match played at the Tahnoun Bin Mohamed Stadium on 05, 01, 2003.
  • Al Ains 1000th league goal was scored by the UAE player Mohamed Omer, this player also scored Al Ains winning goal in the 2003 AFC Champions League final and scored the only goal in Al Ains victorious clash against Juventus.
  • The UAE Leagues 10,000th goal was scored by Al Ains player Nenad Jestrovic.
  • Two of the UAEs four goals in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship held in the Emirates were scored by Al Ain players Ali Al-Wehaibi and Shehab Ahmed.
