Al Aarons (born March 23, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a jazz trumpeter.

He graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit and began to gain attention in 1956. He worked with Yusef Lateef and Barry Harris in the later part of that decade. Then from 1961 to 1969 he played trumpet in the Count Basie Orchestra. He has also accompanied singers Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald.
