  • This is a great point - many of the places in database for Ancient Egypt don't have their proper Arabic names, just their transliterations. Markh 09:20, August 2, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Articles with unsupported titles

Is it really necessary to insist on the lower-casing of the definite article so emphatically? There are a lot of other Arabic names in Wikipedia which just go for capitalized "Al-". AnonMoos 03:09, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
