Al-Muwahhidūn (Arabic: الموحدون) is an Arabic word meaning "monotheists" or "those who believe in the unity of God (tawhid)" (or literally "unitarians"), and has been applied to various groups of Muslims at various times. It is the original Arabic name of the North African Almohad dynasty, and one name that the Druze sometimes call themselves.

The Salafi (often called Wahhabis by outsiders) prefer to call themselves al-Muwahhidūn (i.e. "the people of monotheism") [1]
