Al-Jawhari,Abu Alabbas (Arabic ,أبو العباس الجوهري)(ca. 800-860) was a 9th century Arab mathematician associated with the House of Wisdom , a research institution established by the caliph al-Ma'munin Baghdad . Al-Jawhari lived and worked in Damascus and Baghdad.

He is known for writing a book, Commentary on Euclid's Elements.
