[edit] Akshara meaning
Brahman was listed as one of the philosophical meaning of Akshara. I still kept "Supreme God". Is it not that better to just give meaning "Unperishable" and all other meanings folow that? mlpkr 18:58, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Akshara
I do not see Shiksha is same as Akshara. Shiksha is a book about phonetics amd pronounciations and sometimes different pronounciations of the same thing that has been written. Akshara is letter in script. mlpkr 03:10, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- "merging" doesn't mean the two terms are "the same". It means that there is no potential for this to evolve into a full article; it's basically a dictionary definition of a concept already fully treated at shiksha. Pirmarily, an akshara is a syllable, not a letter. dab (𒁳) 09:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

- ok, I agree that Akshara is syllable and to your logic. Akshra is both part of writing system and also a pronounication system. I will levea the final decision to your discretion. Thanks for your contributions. I have looked at Shiksha. mlpkr 16:57, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
