Akpatok Island is one of the Canadian Arctic islands in Nunavut, Canada. It is the largest island in Ungava Bay on the northern coast of Quebec at 60°25′N 68°08′W. The island is named for the Akpat, the Thick-billed Murre (Uria lomvia), which live on ledges along the limestone cliffs surrounding the island.

The island is predominantly limestone and ringed with steep cliffs 150 to 250 metres that rise above sea level. The cliffs are broken in many places by deep ravines allowing access to the flat plateau 23 kilometres wide and 45 kilometres long. It has an area of 903 square kilometers.

At the southern end of the island there are remains of a Dorset settlement.
