User talk:Aking

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is felt that the article you created at Adam King is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Aking, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information. Surprised to see you are involved with the New York Racing Association. -- RHaworth 08:12, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

Actually, it's the National Youth Rights Association. And I apologize for creating a vanity page when I first signed up. Aking

[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Aking, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! .Blnguyen 23:48, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quantum onion

You placed {{db|Not a dictionary. Please direct to proper site}} on this article, but that's not a speedy deletion criterion. We normally send dictionary definitions to WP:AFD, whioch is what I've done with this one. Keep up the good work, though!

Meh, I was just poking fun at myself. XP —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TrueGamerOmega (talkcontribs).
