Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

[edit] Background

Not much is known about Warabi's past life aside from the fact that, before his death, he was quite popular with the girls that attended his high school, including Kokoro Kosaka. It is suggested by the manga that Warabi, along with the rest of his family died in an car accident.
Warabi's soul was taken on its way from heaven and placed into a stuffed wallaby by an angel. Now, in the care of Kokoro Kosaka, the student who made the toy wallaby, Warabi patiently waits for his soul to be transferred back to into his original body.

[edit] Personality

Despite the mass adoration of the girls at his highschool, Warabi is quite shy, humble, and extremely patient. Not nearly as argumentative as Kosaka, Warabi is portrayed as a kind and trusting entity, making his circumstance all the more pitiful.
He is also quite skilled at playing video games.
