Akira Asada (浅田彰 Asada Akira; 23 March 1957-) is a Japanese economist, philosopher, critic and associate professor at Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University. He became famous for writing a book called Structure & Power (『構造と力 記号論を超えて』) when he was 26.
