Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League is a political party working amongst the Nepali-speaking population in northern West Bengal, India. The party was founded in 1943 by Damber Singh Gurung. The current general secretary is Amar Lama.
ABGL is a part of the People's Democratic Front, an alliance led by the Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxists. PDF constists of parties who work for Gorkha autonomy but are opposed to the Gorkha National Liberation Front.
ABGL has two out of 28 seats in the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council.
Perhaps a party branch will be founded in Sikkim. ABGL had a branch there in the 1970s.
