Akemi Kanda

Akemi Kanda (神田 朱未 Kanda Akemi?, born November 10, 1978 in Nagoya, Aichi) is a seiyū who is affiliated with Aoni Production. She belongs to the seiyū unit whose name is DROPS.

- She is a member of the girl singing group, Aice5. Notable members include Masumi Asano and Negima co-stars Yui Horie and Madoka Kimura.
- She has a penchant for appearing in the same anime/game series as her Negima co-stars.
- In the Fatal Frame series, she voices Amakura Mio, the protaganist of the second game; Junko Minagawa voices Rei Kurosawa (the protagonist) in the third game. In Negima, their characters (Asuna and Ayaka respectively) were at loggerheads with each other.
- In Negima, Mamiko Noto voices Asuna's good friend Nodoka; in Witchblade, Noto voices Masane Amaha (Rihoko's mother). To add to the Negima joke, Akeno Watanabe and Shizuka Itou voices Asagi and Shiori in the same series. (Both were enemies of Masane; in Negima, Watanabe voices Chachamaru and Itou voices Misa.)
