Ajou University is a university located in Suwon, South Korea. It was founded in 1973, and as of 2004 it has a student body of 8,560 undergraduates and 2,394 graduates. Its faculty numbers 750, of whom 200 are professors at the College of Medicine.

It has received high marks as being one of the best colleges in South Korea in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Business and Communication & Information in the nation overall.[citation needed]
