The AJC Derby is an Australian Group 1 thoroughbred horse race for three year olds, at set weights, held at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney in late March or April. The race is contested over 2400 metres (a mile and a half), and has been won by some of the greats of the Australian turf, including Phar Lap, Tulloch, and Kingston Town. Current prizemoney is AUD2 million.
