The Aiyansh River Cones is a group of basaltic cinder cones in the Stikine Volcanic Belt. The cinder cones are situated in a valley above and east of the Tseax River. The cones formed in the narrow confines of a tributary of the Tseax River and comprises, volcanic bombs, cinder, pahoehoe and aa lava flows. One of the cinder cones is the Tseax Cone that erupted at least twice, 625 and 220 radiocarbon years ago. The most recent lava flow traveled 22.5 km and blocked the Nass River.
