Aislaby, Scarborough

Aislaby is a village near the English town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. It is part of the borough of Scarborough. There are other Aislabys nearby - near Pickering and also to the west of Stockton-on-Tees. All three place-names are derived from Viking Old Norse 'Aslakr's farm'.
