The entire publication, including its photographs, was issued under Crown Copyright. Although copyright for the publication is dated at 2004, the Crown Copyright on the photographs starts from the date when they were taken. Air Marshal Coningham was also pictured in the larger photograph and he disappeared, presumed dead, in 1948. Therefore this photograph is more than 50 years old and is in the public domain.
