Airport Road, Bangalore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Airport Road is a major road in Bangalore. Recently it has been more in the news due to its frequent traffic jams. This road is a prominent part of the so called "Infrastructure problem" of Bangalore city. It begins from the point where Trinity Church Road and Victoria Road meet and goes right up to the Bangalore HAL airport. Beyond that, the road officially becomes Vartur Road, but ever since the real estate boom started around 2003, builders have started calling the stretch between the Airport and the Marthahalli Outer Ring Road as Airport Road.
