"Air Jordan" is the first episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Just Jordan.

It's Jordan's first week of school and he confident about making the school's basketball team. But when the tryouts are over he gets a serious reality check when he doesn't make the team due to his inflating ego and not being a team player. If that's not enough Tony, a kid he tried out with makes the team and is working at Grandpa Grant's restaurant and continues to make Jordan look bad by doing everything better than him. Also, Jordan embarrasses himself and his crush Tamika when he dances all crazy at a party and accidentally kicks a big cake making it fall on her head. Finally, while Jordan and Tony are cleaning up, Tony then tells him he would've made the team if he hadn't been such a big show-off and can go to school the next day and talk to the coach about joining. The two boys then put their differences aside and become friends.
