Air Chathams

Air Chathams is an airline based in the Chatham Islands, New Zealand. It operates scheduled passenger services between the Chatham Islands and the North and South islands of New Zealand. Its main base is Chatham Island Airport, with a hub at Wellington International Airport and a Flight Operations base at Nelson Airport.

Air Chathams operates services to the following domestic scheduled destinations (at November 2006): Auckland, Chatham Islands, Christchurch and Wellington utilising one Convair 580.

The Metro III is on contract for freight and available for charter work.

A passenger service is operated between Suva and Nadi and Suva and Funafuti (Tuvalu) with one 50-seat Convair 580 on behalf of Air Fiji.

A third 50-seat Convair 580 is available from New Zealand for charter and schedule support work.

The fourth Convair 580 is a freighter only. She is currently in storage awaiting reintroduction to service when suitable work becomes available.

The Cessna 206 provides a non regular service between Chatham Island and Pitt Island and is on standby for Search And Rescue or local flights around the Chatham Islands as well.
