Spine-tailed Seasnake Aipysurus eydouxii is a species of sea snake. Distribution: Australia (North Territory, Queensland, West Australia), South China Sea, Gulf of Thailand, Indonesia, W Malaysia, Vietnam, New Guinea. This snake is packed with strong neurotoxins to procure its prey within seconds.
The scientific name commemorates the French naturalist Joseph Fortuné Théodore Eydoux.
