Aintoura (Arabic: عينطورة) is a town in the Mount Lebanon Governorate, in western Lebanon. It is located at around .

It is a picturesque town in Mount Lebanon, known for it nice climate especially in the summer. Winters are cold and snowy while summers are pleasant with average temparatures between 24-25°C (74-76°F). Pine and oaks forests surround the village and make it an ideal summer resort.

The inhabitants of Aintoura are Lebanese and followers of the Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches. The two main families in Aintoura are the Azars and Hages. Many people from the town immigrated to the American continents and Africa and achieved great success especially in business and science. Many returned back and built elaborate villas as symbols of their success abroad.

Aintoura is known for its schools, such as Collège St. Joseph Antoura, College Lazarus and Le Lycée - Aintoura. Many literary and public figures of Lebanon and the Levant were educated in its schools, such as the poet, May Ziade, the journalist , owner of Annahar newspaper , the father of the late Gibran Tueni and former lebanese ambassador Ghassan Tueni , the politician, Kamal Jumblatt, and former Lebanese presidents Suleiman Franjieh,René Mouawad,Elias Sarkis.[1][2][3]
