Ain't We Got Fun?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Ain't We Got Fun?" is a popular song written by Richard A. Whiting, Raymond Egan, and Gus Kahn and published in 1921.

It has since become a standard, recorded by many artists. The song is quoted in the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and has been used for several years in commercials for Carnival Cruise Lines.

There are several variations on the lyrics. For example, one verse says "The rent's unpaid dear/ we haven't a car/ but anyway dear/ we'll stay as we are." However, another version is heard as "The rent's unpaid dear / we haven't a bus / but smiles were made dear / for people like us." (See external link for full lyrics.)
