"Ain't Never Gonna Give You Up" is the third and final single from Paula Abdul's album, Head Over Heals in 1996.

The song is a jazzy-funk track, and Abdul worked with Color Me Badd on the song.
The single received very little play on radio and the video received only a little play as well on MTV and VH1. Because of that the single didn't reach the Billboard Hot 100. Instead it only peaked on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart which contains the songs that haven't hit the Hot 100 yet. On the Bubbling Under chart it reached #12 which is equivalent to #112 on the Hot 100.
The single became Abdul's first that didn't reach the Hot 100. It was also the last single Abdul has released to date.
There were plans to release a fourth single for "If I Was Your Girl", but it seemed Virgin, Abdul's label had no interest in going any further with the album so the plans were later scrapped after the poor album sales.
