[edit] Miss Chinese Toronto 2004

Competing with 9 other delegates in the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2004, she was unplaced in the top 3. (The eventual winner of the pageant was Lena Ma, who failed to make the top 5 of the Miss Chinese International 2005 pageant.) Interesting note was that Janet Chow, Miss Hong Kong 2006 First Runner-Up, was a fellow delegate at the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2004 and was unplaced as well. Aimee was actually one of the favourites to win the night of Miss Chinese Toronto finals. She had one of the strongest interviews & when it was time to announce the winner, everyone in the audience was shouting for #7 Aimee. Unfortunately, she did not win.

[edit] Miss Hong Kong 2006

After losing in the Miss Chinese Toronto pageant, she competed in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 2006. Though coming from Toronto, she went back to Hong Kong to compete. She made the top 21 of the Hong Kong group. After going into camp for 5 days training in Group C, she made the top 16. After filming with Se7en in Korea, she competed on August 12, 2006 for the title. Though being a favorite, there were negative reports circulating around her in regards to plastic surgery. In the end, she still won the crown and won the Miss International Goodwill title as well.

Recently, she had been featured in TVB's Children's Favorite Song Awards. She acted as a beautiful mermaid (the awards show was based on an underwater kingdom)

  • She attended Richmond Hill church north of Toronto
