Aigai

Aigai (or Aegae) is the name of two significant sites of antiquity;
- For Aigai of the Aeolian dodecapolis;see Aigai, Turkey, which lies at almost mid-point between the cities of İzmir, Manisa, Bergama and Aliağa.
- For the royal capital of the ancient Macedon;see Verghina,Greece, which ruled by the Argead dynasty from about 650 BC onwards.
