[edit] Interesting ISBN problem with the Cartigny book

See a September '06 entry about cancelled ISBNs in [1] for discussion of this problem. The ISBN that was originally posted in this article agrees with the one at catalog.loc.gov (Library of Congress), where they have marked it as 'Cancelled ISBN'. (I think this means 'ISBN with bad checksum'). Thus there is no possible source of a corrected ISBN. Anyone can confirm this by typing it into the online converter at isbn.org/converpub.asp, where it replies 'conversion failed'. Two options would be: (a) leave it as it is, marked as 'No ISBN available', or (b) revert the page to remove all the warnings but prepare for future robot complaints as the ISBNs are rechecked in the future. There is always the hope that the publisher might re-release the book with a corrected ISBN. EdJohnston 18:41, 5 September 2006 (UTC) Insert non-formatted text here
