Ahmede Hussain

Ahmede (Mainul) Hussain (born 16 July, 1978) is a Bangladeshi-born author, journalist and literary critic.

Hussain has joined [[1]][The Daily Star] in 2002. Ahmede is one of the few authors in Bangladesh who writes in English in a predominantly Bengali speaking country; he is the author of Blues for Allah, a novella, which has been published in Colloquy, Monash University, Australia's journal ( [2] )

Hussain is reported to have been editing an anthology of South Asian fiction in English;and, according to his blog ( [www.ahmedehussain.blogspot.com] ) is also working on his first novel.
