Ahmed Shah (field hockey)

Ahmed Shah, is a Pakistani field hockey player.

Shah is the son of Iqrar Shah, the great defender of Pakistan's World Cup winning hockey team. He is the tallest player of Pakistan's team (6.2 ft). He joined the team in late 2004, and he played for the Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia with Pakistan's National team. He only had two minutes of playing time, due to which he could not impress the selectors, and he got dropped from the selection. Since then, Ahmed tried his best to come back in the team, by playing in several clubs. He is playing for Klein Zwitserland in Holland, and he got a offer from the Orissa Steelers in India.

Ahmed was nominated for Ary's Pakistan Teen Personality of the year, but the award went to Muhammed Asif On the 24th february 2005
