Ahmed Abdel Haye Kira

Ahmed Abdel Haye Kira (Arabic: أحمد عبدالحي كيرا) was born in Fareskoor, Egypt and was one of the most wanted underground fighters during the British occupation of Egypt. Ahmed studied medicine at the Cairo School of Medicine in early 1920s. He escaped Egypt after he was sentenced to death. He went to the western border of Libya where he worked as exporter, transporting sheep to Italy. When his hiding place in Libya was discovered, he escaped to Italy and from there he went to Germany where he finished his study medicine in Berlin. When he was discovered once again, he fled to Istanbul in Turkey were he was killed and buried in 1935.
