Ahiohill

Ahiohill is a small neat village in the outer environs of Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland. Centre of the village is the The Four Winds Bar and Lounge. Surrounding the village are some of the most elegant housing to be seen in West Cork. Property values in this area increased by a factor of 300%[citation needed] in the last three years alone due to the movement of more affluent people from the city who are setting up home in this quiet, picturesque, crime-free environment. The local GAA club Oliver Plunketts, have of recent years progressed to Junior A level in Hurling. At this level they have competed well against the more experienced teams of West Cork such as Ballinascarthy and Clonakilty, however, they have yet to overcome the challenge of the current champions, Barryroe.
