Agrocybe is a genus of mushrooms, most which are poisonous. The edible mushrooms of the species are not easy to identify and it is safer to avoid the entire genus when mushroom hunting for consumption.
The species Agrocybe aegerita, known as Chestnut mushroom, is cultivated and sold in Japan and Australia.
