The Agricultural cycle refers to the annual activitites related to the growth and harvest of a crop.

This includes loosening the soil, seeding, special watering, moving plants when they grow bigger, and harvesting, among other activities.

The agricultual cycle is usually based on the lunar calendar or the seasons, because these tend to more accurately indicate the weather conditions during a period of time than the solar calendar.
