Agnethe Davidsen (born in 1947) is the current mayor of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland.

In 1983 she was appointed as a suppleant for Hans Pavia Rosing to the Parliament of Greenland (the Landsting) for Forward (Siumut). Later same year, she was appointed as member of the parliament for social affairs (a position similar to minister), and thereby became the first female member of the Landsting.

In 1989 she was elected for the city council of Nuuk for Siumut, and between 1989 and 1991 held the position as second vice mayor. After the election in 1991 she was appointed first vice mayor and in 1993 she became the mayor of the city council.
