Agios Stefanos (Greek: Άγιος Στέφανος, meaning Saint Stephen) is a rather exclusive suburb in Attica, Greece, about 23 km north of Athens. Agios Stefanos is almost entirely residential, but a few shops line its main street. Agios Stefanos is situated in the northern part of the Athenian plain, between the Parnitha mountain and the mountain range to the east. Agios Stefanos is accessed with two interchanges with GR-1/E75 (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki) at the 21st and the 24th km with the GR-83 and 1.3 km south of the tolls. It is linked with a road linking to Anixi. The Cephissus River lies to the west. Agios Stefanos is located SE of Thiva, S of Euboea and Oropos, W of Marathon, NE of Kifissia and NE of the Attiki Odos (number 6).

Until the 1960s and the 1970s, farmlands covered the area around Agios Stefanos which the remainder exists around the area. Forests covers part of the community. Most of the population are urban while until the 1960s and the 1970s were rural. Luxury houses arrived in Agios Stefanos in the 1970s and continued into the 1990s. Housing developments continues to this day.
