Agios Ioannis, Amaliada

Agios Ioannis (Greek:Άγιος Ιωάννης for Saint John) is a village of the community of Amalias in the municipality of Amaliada and the prefecture of Ilia. It's located between Chavari and Amaliada on a road linking Amaliada and Simopoulo. Distance from Amaliada is about 2 km N, about 20 km WSW of Simopoulo, west of GR-33 and 6 km (closest) NE of GR-9/E55.

The village has a small school, a church named Agios Ioannis and a (plateia). Most of the area is hilly and has pasture lands and olive groves as its primary source of agriculture. Forests are founded in the hills.
