[edit] Plot
In New England, Bogg & Jeff must prevent the Salem witch trials from continuing as the mother of Benjamin Franklin, Abaia Folger, is accused of witchcraft by local schoolgirls in 1692. The Voyagers appear to be devils summoned by her and help her escape a torch-wielding mob but they are caught and imprisoned. At the trial, a man named Reverend Noise, snatches the Omni from Bogg and calls it a talisman and the judge sentences Bogg and Abaia to burn at the stake. In the woods, Bogg's bonfire is lit but Jeff breaks free and grabs the Omni, saving Bogg and they end up in a dark room during a séance in Boston, 1924. After Harry Houdini introduces himself they vanish and end up in Baltimore, 1814 to assure that Francis Scott Key doesn't lose his poem (The Star-Spangled Banner). Jeff tells Bogg they have to convince Houdini that they are not ghosts but a phony medium tries to bury Houdini and the Voyagers alive to keep them quiet about her trickery. They escape and she is arrested before they go back to Salem and stop the witch hunts from going on any further by pretending to be ghosts of previous victims, forcing the townspeople to repent their ways.
