Agent Provocateur (lingerie)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Agent Provocateur is a well known lingerie brand based in the United Kingdom. It has three stores in London, a recently opened store in the upmarket Victoria Quarter in Leeds, a concession in Selfridges, and three stores in the United States. The first shop was opened in 1994. Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Kate Moss and Carmen Electra, are among their VIP clients.
The company is known for producing controversial ads such as those released in December 2001 featuring pop singer Kylie Minogue. The ads helped push the envelope on sexual innuendo in advertising media.
Joseph Corre and Serena Rees opened the first Agent Provocateur shop in December 1994, in London's Soho. Corre is the son of British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Sex Pistols' ex-manager, Malcolm McLaren.
In 2006 they released a new maternity & nursing bra range.
Kate Moss has become the newest model for the Fall/Winter 2006 line.
