AfterElton.com
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
AfterElton.com is a website that focuses on the portrayal of gay and bisexual men in the media. Its female counterpart is AfterEllen.com. Both websites, which were bought in 2006 by Logo, were created by Sarah Warn, who serves as editor-in-chief. They share the motto "Because visibility matters." Michael Jensen became the editor in November of 2005.
AfterElton.com is not affiliated with Elton John, although its name refers to the milestone for gay men when Elton publicly came out.
The site considers television, film, music, books, and celebrity news. It publishes articles, regular columns, and reviews.
