Aftab Karim

Prof. Aftab Karim born (10 July 1974, Kamalia Pakistan) is a subject specialist in Geography at Government College for Elementary Teachers Kamalia. He is graduate form University of the Punjab Lahore. He earned his masters in Geography in 1997 and masters in Education in 1999. He has also been temporary lecturer at Department of Geography, University of the Punjab from September, 1997 to September 1999.
He was recommended as subject specialist in geography by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Lahore in 2000 and now serving in the Punjab Education Department.
He was awarded indigenous Ph.D. fellowship by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2004. In January 2005 he started his Ph.D. studies at Department of Geography, University of the Punjab Lahore. Being a research scholar he is conducting a research titled “Spatial Patterns of Population Growth and Educational Development in the Punjab, (Pakistan) 1951-2006” that will be published soon.
