Afshin Ghotbi

Afshin Ghotbi (born February 8, 1964 in Shiraz, Iran) is an Iranian-American football coach who is currently working with the South Korean national team as an Assistant Coach to Pim Verbeek.
A former assistant coach of the US national team and Los Angeles Galaxy, he worked with the Korean team under Dutchman Guus Hiddink from December 2000 till July 2002 as a technical analyst and under Dick Advocaat from October 2005 till July 2006. He has a reputation as a forward-thinking coach.
