Category:African American novelists

This category is for novelists who are of African-American heritage. The category was created without the hyphenation for consistency with the larger category Category:African American writers. Writers who wrote novels and wrote in other genres should be categorized both here and also in the most specific appropriate category for the other genre; for example, an African-American novelist and poet would be categorized here and in Category:African American poets.
