Afropop Worldwide is a radio program which presents the musics of Africa and the African diaspora. The program is produced by World Music Productions in Brooklyn, New York and is distributed by Public Radio International. Georges Collinet is the host.
National Public Radio launched the show Afropop as a weekly series in 1988 in response to widespread interest in international pop music. The first of its kind, it later expanded to include the music and cultures of the entire African diaspora.
