Schopfloch is a municipality in southern Germany with a population of 2,550. It is located in the district of Freudenstadt in the State of Baden-Württemberg in the Northern part of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald).
Schopfloch consists of 3 communities: Schopfloch, Oberiflingen und Unteriflingen.
Schopfloch is known as the only place in the world that preserves a unique language named "Lachoudisch" (from Hebrew: "Leshon ha-Kodesh" = the Holy Language, a traditional name for Hebrew). Lachoudisch is a combination of old German dialect and Hebrew, an influence of the Jewish population of Schopfloch.
