Assessment comments The following comments were left by the assessors: (edit · refresh) [edit] Missing Rivalry there was one rivalry that was noticably absent from this, the one between Port Adelaide and Collingwood. this is the only things i know: it started back in 1990 before Port were in the league, but could have started further back in the All-Australian Champion (i think that what it was called, could be wrong) matches. When Port applied to join the then VFL in 1990, Collingwood opposed them using the black and white colours, and the magpie logo, which it still stood by when Port eventually got admitted in 1997. their first matches were heated, and Port had to arrange a deal so they could wear the 'jail bars' SANFL Port guernsy in one of the Heritage Rounds because Collingwood opposed it.
